We’re Aradhana and Suhrita
two friends turned co-creators, brought together by our shared love for handcrafted art and Indian textiles. Designing has always been a passion, but Ikshaa is where that passion found purpose.
At Ikshaa, we believe every artisan carries a legacy — a story etched in thread, colour, and tradition — waiting to be shared with the world. Through Ikshaa, we’re creating a space where those stories can be seen, felt, and celebrated.
With backgrounds in commerce (Aradhana, CWA) and education (Suhrita, B.Ed from Bangalore University), we combine heart and hands-on experience to support the crafts we love — and the people behind them.
Aradhana
A Commerce Graduate and a student of Cost Accountancy, Aradhana worked in accounting firms and taught in school for differently-abled. In her free time, she conducted craft workshops for women and children.
Her products found widespread appreciation and acceptance within her neighbourhood and at various exhibitions in Bangalore.
Aradhana aims to spread ikshaa craft by building a team of equally passionate crafters through personal coaching and mentoring.
Suhrita
Suhrita A postgraduate in Commerce from Pune University and a Diploma holder in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis, Suhrita is deeply passionate about art and has a keen interest in exploring the rich textile traditions of India. She believes the saree is the most graceful attire an Indian woman can wear—timeless, inclusive, and free of judgment.
With a love for experimenting with colours, she finds joy in painting and reading during her free time. Through Ikshaa, she aspires to take Indian handlooms to a global audience while actively supporting and empowering women through meaningful, craft-led work.
